The session is dedicated to contributions analyzing the role of integrated geosciences in understanding natural processes and the sustainable management of the territory, with a specific focus on geological, environmental, and anthropogenic risks.
We welcome works that address—including through interdisciplinary and multiscalar approaches—the following topics: i) characterization and assessment of geological and hydrogeological risks; ii) integration of geological, geomorphological, geophysical, and environmental data; iii) use of environmental monitoring, Earth observation, and modeling; iv) scientific support for territorial and urban planning; v) risk communication and the relationship between science, policy-making, and society; vi) applied case studies in complex and high-vulnerability contexts.
This session is designed as a cross-cutting and inclusive space, aimed at fostering dialogue between different sectors of geosciences while valuing both methodological and applied contributions.
